Tourist Interview: Roman from Switzerland

Roman is a big fan of the World Cup, he is spending a month in Cape Town for the African World Cup and is very excited to be experiencing it live for the first time. He came over with his brother Joel but Joel has returned home as he couldn’t miss any more school. Roman wasn’t surprised that Switzerland didn’t do well and he is now supporting Germany.

A. People are nice, mostly

A. Staying in Cape Town

A. Have only seen Cape Town

Q. Which is your favourite stadium?
A. Have only experience Cape Town stadium

Q. Where are you staying in Cape Town?
A. At a friend’s house

Q. What do you think of Cape Town?
A. Great sightseeing and the food is good, but public transport is not good to all areas.

Q. What do you think of the V&A Waterfront?
A. Good centre point for fans, great selection of shops and restaurants

Q. What do you think of the vuvuzela?
A. Should be banned, or better yet, never invented. It kills the atmosphere in the stadium

Q. Do you have a vuvuzela?
A. No

Q. Would you come back to SA after the World Cup?
A. Yes
