Win with Caffe Milano and Valrhona Chocolate

You may have read my review of Caffe Milano already. One of the things I didn’t mention was that Caffe Milano is one of the few places that uses Valrhona chocolate. It’s not a name that we are very familiar with in South Africa, but it’s internationally recognised as one of the top chocolates. Vanessa uses the chocolate in her pastries and also has bars of the chocolate available for sale (definitely something you need to check out).

When I popped into Caffe Milano for breakfast the other day, Vanessa was excited to show me the selection of Valrhona Easter eggs that had just arrived. I tried one and they are amazing. So I convinced her to give some away, to you. She agreed that Relax with Dax readers are most deserving of this kindness and has offered an Easter egg basket worth R200 to one lucky winner. Have a look at the pic below for an idea of what the eggs look like. Vanessa will make up the basket for you when you collect your prize (maybe you want to sneak in some extra stuff…).

To win this prize, all you have to do is visit the Valrhona website and find the range of Grand Crus chocolate bars (which are available at Caffe Milano). Then send me an email at dax@relaxwithdax.co.za with the subject ‘Valrhona comp’ and in the mail give me the name of three of the chocolate bars (I think there are about ten to choose from) as well as your cell number so we can notify you if you win.

The competition will run until the 17th April 2011. Winners will be notified on Monday the 18th and will need to pop into Caffe Milano to collect their prize that week (seeing as Friday the 22nd is Good Friday).

Being a Belgian with a chocolate addiction, I must say that I have never heard of the chocolate brand Valrhona! But I will give it a try…

    1. Ja, they are not allowed to import them into Belgium because they are so good they will make Belgian chocolates look bad.

Sorry Dax, but they are available in Belgium. And also, nothing beats Belgian chocolate!

  4. The winner of the competition is Suzie Bowling.

Congratulations, hope you enjoy the treat. Thanks to all who entered.
