2009 is the 5th year for the SA Blog awards and it is really growing. This year they have more and bigger sponsors and I see more and more blogs being nominated. The competition has certainly had its share of controversy, but I think lessons have been learnt and it is starting to mature into a respectable competition. I’m sure in a couple of years it will be quite a big thing.
The competition has two phases, the nomination phase and the voting phase. In the nomination phase, the public nominates their favourite blogs in each category. The judges then add their (weighted) votes and the top ten nominated blogs in each category go through to the voting phase. At this point the public can vote for one blog in each category. Again, the judges cast their (weighted) votes and the winners for each category are decided.
Relax with Dax made it through to the finals in the Food & Wine category, so thanks to all of you who nominated Relax with Dax. The important part comes now, please vote for Relax with Dax in the Food & Wine category. The competition is stiff, so we need every vote we can get. While you’re there, check out some of the other finalists. The Blog Awards is a great way to find out about some of the great blogs which you might not have seen yet.
You can vote by clicking on the Vote For Me badge on the right, or simply click here.
