SAB is running a cool competition/promotion to find the best pub lunch in Cape Town for under R50. They have 56 venues signed up to participate. The way it works is that you go to one of the participating pubs (the list of pubs is on the website) and you either check in with Foursquare or you send an sms with the venue code to 42189. You will receive a message back with the details of the meal which you show to the waitron.
When the time is up (6th March) the top ten pubs with the most check ins will be the finalists. Several judges (I am one) will then go and try the ten top meals to decide who the overall winner is. The winning pub will receive R30 000 to be split between the owner and the staff.
