Jade review

Last Friday I went to Jade (ex Bhudda bar) in Greenpoint. I was impressed with how and how much it had changed. As I arrived, I was greeted by carpeted stairs which immediately changed the feel of the place. The place is a lot more open plan than before, it looks very different. The back area is like a big dining room with carpeted floor and a dining room table with stylish chairs around it. It feels like you’ve just had dinner at someone’s house and now you are having a little after dinner drink and party. It certainly was a party. The place was packed, the music was pumping, people were dancing and the bars were jammed. All signs of a good party. The music was unusual but very funky, it created a nice vibe. A definite improvement on Bhudda Bar which never really grabbed me. I don’t know which nights it is busy on, but Friday was pumping. See you there!
