Cloof Wine Giveaway

I don’t know if my readers are aware that I am also a wine expert. I can tell if a wine is a red wine or a white wine just by looking at it. With just one mouthful I can tell if a wine has been chilled or not. But what really makes me an expert is that with just a few sips, I can tell you if I like a wine or not. I firmly believe that the best wine, is the wine you like. If you like a wine, it doesn’t matter how expensive or cheap it was or how many awards it did or didn’t win, it’s a good wine for you.

Unfortunately there is a large disparity between my wine consumption and the size of my budget. So I’m always on the look out for good wine deals. I was sent a link by a friend, for a special run by Cloof wines.

At R275 (a saving of nearly 50%) for a case of 6 bottles including delivery, it seems like good value so I  decided to buy a case and check it out. I’d had the case for a few days when I got a call from Cloof asking me if I would like to giveaway some cases to my readers. I jumped at the idea, because I like my readers to be rewarded. So we have 4 cases of Cloof red blends to give away. I’ve drunk about half my case so far and I have to say that I have been quite impressed. Some of the wines have unusual names like “The Dark Side” and “Happy Dragon” and they also have quite funny stories on the labels. The light hearted labels make one not take the wines seriously, but actually they are good wines. The case includes the award winning Inkspot as well as the Lynchpin Bordeaux blend.
