I have posted on Nuclear Energy before, which you can read here. Initially I didn’t know enough to have a strong point of view, but I have read up on the topic and am now confidently anti nuclear.
Just keeping an eye on the news is enough to to keep me strong in this view. Have a look at this selection of recent articles:
Containers for spent nuclear fuel not expected to last as long as they should.
Accidents are standard operating procedure at nuclear power plants even in developed countries.
A recent report exposes problems with safety of pebble bed modular reactors (the type we want to use). (This one might only be available to subscribers, I will try and find another link).
While collecting these links, I noticed a whole lot more articles talking about safety concerns, massive spiraling costs, etc.
This is worse than the Arms Deal.
