This year the awards were held at Jardine restaurant on Jordan estate and that was one of the main reasons I attended. That place is incredibly beautiful and the food is always amazing. George did not disappoint and I ate until I nearly popped.
There are 88 restaurants which received awards this year, up from 55 in 2003 and 18 when the awards started in 1999. What I liked this year is that they are going to be adding green awareness to the usual criteria of quality of cuisine, service (including menu and wine knowledge), wine list, décor, ambience and consistency.
